Lola - she is SO big!

How she has grown

Lola is almost 1 year old ~ she is SO big!! and that is not the only thing that has changed. Remember how she was so sweet and snugglely (that probably isn't a real word ~ oh well) It was all a trick. She is SO crazy and spunky and sassy!

Now, the docile, little sweetheart lasted for a while (look how cute she is, ah I can't even handle it) But eventually she started to show her true colors.

My favorite of her little tricks was when she would jump up against the food container. We keep the dogs food in a large container with an air tight lid that flipped open for food access. When it was time for food, we would open the container and pick up the scoop getting ready to scoop her food into her bowl. Lola would sit a few feet away wagging her tail, she would just sit, watching, waiting...waiting for you to scoop the food. As soon as you would have a scoop, Lola would lunge forward hitting the food container and knocking the food out of the scoop. LOL she would do this over and over again. She didn't seem to care that she wasn't getting her food, it was just a big game, or she was too excited and had to jump and hit the food container, I am not sure, but it was sure hilarious. She eventually grew out of it, but it was SO funny, she did it every time. What a little pixie!

Lola is just like Leela, she LOVES taking baths. Here is her first bath . . . she looks so skinny and scared, but believe me, she likes it! : )

Yes, I am one of THOSE dog owners who puts clothes on their dogs. But look at that cute little pink shirt, it had snow flakes and was SO cute! I had to put it on her. It says I heart Winter on it, which is kind of funny since Lola didn't seem to heart the snow all that much.

Then, in what seemed like overnight, she was BIG. My little Lola baby was bigger than BOTH the other dogs. She continued with her little tricks. She tried to escape at every chance she got. She didn't want to escape to get away from us, she just wanted to go exploring. Beagles follow their nose, and Lola is NO exception.

For some reason she sits on her side, kind of like side saddle, it is pretty funny. Not sure why she sits like this . . . because she is Lola the pixie, that's why...lol

We took Logan, Lola, and a very pregnant Leela to the Ford Reunion in Big Glade. Here they are taking a nap. You can see Lola, yes Leela is using her head as a pillow, silly puppies.
